why mowing your lawn is important

Regular lawn mowing promotes even grass growth, strengthens roots, and deters weeds, creating a smoother, safer play area for kids. It reduces tripping hazards and encourages outdoor activity and creativity. Frequent mowing also helps spot potential hazards early, ensuring a healthy, inviting, and enjoyable outdoor space for children.

How Often should i mow my lawn

Mowing frequency depends on grass type and growth rate. In Alabama, mow every 10 days on average. Cool-season grasses need mowing every 5-7 days in spring and fall, while warm-season varieties require it every 7-10 days in summer. Adjust frequency seasonally, keeping grass 2-3 inches tall and preventing stress by trimming no more than one-third at a time.

WHY we DONT CUT wet grass

Cutting wet grass causes clumping, uneven cuts, and a patchy appearance. It also tears blades, increasing the risk of disease and fungal growth. Wet conditions pose safety hazards and can compact soil, damaging lawn health. Avoiding wet mowing ensures better quality, healthier grass, and safer conditions for both workers and equipment.
